Shia Rights Organization Condemns Extradition of Bahraini Expat Hashim Jafar to Authorities

The International Shia Rights Organization has strongly condemned the extradition of Bahraini expatriate Hashim Jafar to Bahraini authorities, calling it a blatant violation of human rights. In a statement received by the Shia Waves Agency, the organization confirmed that Jafar was handed over despite a life sentence issued against him for political reasons.

The statement emphasized that this action challenges and violates international laws that denounce the extradition of refugees sought for political cases. It highlighted that such a move is a clear breach of international standards designed to protect individuals from being sent back to countries where they may face human rights violations.

The organization expressed serious concern for Jafar’s safety, noting that he is now in an exceptional situation that poses significant risks to his security. It urged the international community to take immediate action to protect Jafar’s rights and closely monitor his situation, while also pressing Bahraini authorities to ensure he is not subjected to any human rights abuses.
