The Shirazi Religious Authority provides food aid to families of the martyrs of Mazar-i-Sharif

The Shirazi Religious Authority did not stand idly by in front of the tragedies that the Afghans are subjected to, especially in their ongoing extermination at the hands of terrorist movements.

Afghanistan witnessed a horrific terrorist bombing in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, on the 19th of the great month of Ramadan this year, causing the martyrdom of a number of victims, which turned the life of their families into great suffering.

A statement by the Mazar-i-Sharif Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, received by Shia Waves News Agency, confirmed that “efforts are being made to care for the families of the Afghan martyrs and provide them with assistance.”

The statement added, “The Office of the Shirazi Religious Authority supervised the distribution of food to dozens of martyrs’ families in Mazar-i-Sharif in order to support them in light of the difficult living conditions.”

It explained that “the aid was provided by the Al-Rasool Al-Akram Foundation, and in cooperation with the Ahlulbayt al-Bayt Charitable Foundation in Kuwait.”

The statement confirmed that “the Shirazi-affiliated centers continue to support poor families, orphans and martyrs’ families, in order to alleviate their suffering.”
