A humanitarian initiative has launched a new community development project in Sierra Leone, announcing the laying of the foundation stone for the Amir al-Mu’minin Complex, coinciding with the days marking the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).

The project was announced by the Hussain for Everyone Campaign, which stated that the complex will include several religious and service facilities aimed at supporting local communities and improving access to basic services.

According to the organizers, the complex will feature a mosque named after Imam Hasan ibn Ali (peace be upon them both) that will serve as a center for worship and religious activities. Plans also include the establishment of a social services center designed to provide assistance to vulnerable members of the community.

The project will also include the construction of a water well named after Imam Husayn ibn Ali (peace be upon them both) to help provide safe drinking water in areas facing shortages. In addition, a school named after Muhsin ibn Ali (peace be upon them both) is planned to support education and expand learning opportunities for children in the region.

The campaign said the initiative forms part of a broader series of humanitarian projects it is implementing in several countries to promote social solidarity and improve living conditions in underserved communities through educational and service-based development programs.
