Holy Karbala Police announce the participation of 30,000 security personnel to secure the Ashura Pilgrimage

The Holy Karbala Police Commander, Major General Ahmed Zwaini, announced, on Monday, that 30,000 security personnel will participate in securing the pilgrimage of the tenth of Muharram.

 

The Holy Karbala Police Commander, Major General Ahmed Zwaini, announced, on Monday, that 30,000 security personnel will participate in securing the pilgrimage of the tenth of Muharram.

Zwaini said in a press conference, that the security plans also includes reinforcements from the ministries of Interior and Defense.

The Commander added that there are security reinforcements on the external checkpoints and roads, as well as the desert areas.
