A spokesman for the Ghor Security Directorate, Maarouf Danesh, said in statements to reporters that clashes took place between security guards and members of the Taliban terrorist movement in the Dolatiar district of the state of Ghor.
Danesh said that the guards threw mortar shells at the terrorists during the confrontations and hit civilian homes by mistake, killing 4 civilians and wounding 7 others.
Earlier, the Afghan authorities announced that 80 civilians were killed during the past week, as a result of Taliban terrorist attacks across the country.
