The 209th Shaheen Corps in a statement said the Taliban terrorists launched attacks in Kohistan and Sherin Tagab districts, targeting the security posts in the central parts of the two provinces.
The statement further added that the security forces effectively responded to the attacks, killing at least 12 Taliban terrorists.
The security forces also wounded at least 6 Taliban terrorists during the clashes, the 209th Shaheen Corps added.
The Taliban group has not commented regarding the clashes so far.
