A man has recorded himself desecrating Islam’s holy book by stepping on it and uploading it on social media networks without taking into account the feelings of Muslims as the holy month of Ramadan approaches.

The video drew widespread condemnation from social media users and many called for his arrest.

A number of social media activists, especially on Twitter, circulated reports of the arrest and detention of the man, however after investigation, it turned out that the perpetrator of this heinous act is still free.
