In light of the current outbreak of COVID-19 and the imposition of lockdowns and curfews, a group of centers affiliated with the Shirazi Religious Authority in the city of Mahajanga in the Republic of Madagascar distributed food to Ahlulbayt followers.

The centers organized campaign to distribute quantities of food baskets to needy families in the city.

The charitable initiative is based on the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, for the need to support those in need, especially during this critical time.
