Volunteers of Popular Mobilization Forces have managed to liberate Al-Bashir village southwest Kirkuk province and its surrounding villages from the terrorists of IS terrorists.
A leader of the Popular Mobilization Forces said that Al-Bashir village was completely liberated and the Iraqi army was raised in Shamsiya village, adding that dozens of IS terrorists were killed and five others were arrested, one of them of Libyan nationality.
Al-Bashir village, which is occupied by Shia Turkmen community, was completed destroyed during Saddam’s reign, but after 2003 the village was rebuilt again, however, the takfiri groups, backed by the Baathists groups, attacked the villages after the fall of Mosul.
