Seven Taliban terrorists killed in air strikes in western Afghanistan
Seven Taliban terrorists were killed in a series of raids launched by Afghan army planes on the movement’s strongholds in the west of the country.
The Afghan army said, in a statement, that seven terrorists, including a local commander, were killed when fighter planes targeted Taliban hideouts in the “Jaji Arioub” district of Paktia province, in the west of the country.
The statement added that these raids were carried out after the military’s command received certain intelligence reports.
The Taliban movement, which operates in parts of Paktia and the neighboring Khost and Paktika provinces, have not commented on the news so far.
