Adam Center voices deep concern over the latest houses’ raids in Awamiyah

Adam Center for Defending Human Rights and Freedoms has voiced its deep concerns over the way Security forces in Saudi Arabia raided houses and arrested several people in the Shia-majority city of Awamiyah of Eastern Province

 

Adam Center for Defending Human Rights and Freedoms has voiced its deep concerns over the way Security forces in Saudi Arabia raided houses and arrested several people in the Shia-majority city of Awamiyah of Eastern Province.

The center said in a statement that the organized killings and opening fire on children, women, and elderly people would escalate violence in the region, calling on the Saudi authorities to listen to the demands of the people of this city and to release the detainees, along with allowing the medical staffs to heal the wounded people who sustained injuries due to heavy firing by the security forces.

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time that the Saudi security forces terrify women and children and open fire on the civilians of Awwamiyah city.
