Prisoners of conscience in Bahrain’s Jaw Prison: We categorically reject the Alternative Penal Code
Prisoners of conscience in Jaw Prison in Bahrain issued a statement declaring their rejection of the so-called Alternative Penal Code.
In their statement, the detainees sent three messages, which they addressed to the Crown Prince’s government, rejecting the Alternative Penal Code and viewing it as an unfair law that is replaced unjustly by another.”
As for their second message, the families of the prisoners saluted their patience and steadfastness, thanking them and saluting their rejection of blackmail. In their third message, they saluted all the political opponents to their steadfastness and devotion to the cause of their people and their country.
