The Saudi coalition destroys food silos in Hodeidah
The Ministry of Industry and Trade condemned the targeting of the Saudi coalition of grain silos and mills, belonging to the Yemeni International Company for Food Industries (YIFCO), in the port of Salif in Hodeidah province.
In a statement, the Ministry of Industry expressed its strong condemnation of the Saudi coalition’s continued targeting of commercial and industrial facilities in Yemen, including factories, factories, farms, institutions and companies.
The statement emphasized that targeting the Yemeni people’s capabilities and infrastructure, including factories and industrial and commercial establishments, is a war crime and a crime against humanity that will not be subject to statute of limitations.
It pointed out that the bombing of grain silos and mills of the Yemeni International Company for Food Industries is part of the economic war against the Yemeni people, in blatant violation of all international conventions and treaties, including the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and others.
The statement praised the role of the private sector, its bearing of national responsibility, and its keenness to contribute to the provision of food and medicine.
The Ministry of Industry renewed the call to the United Nations and all international humanitarian organizations to pressure the countries of the coalition to neutralize commercial and industrial facilities from any targeting, as they are economic and civilian facilities, and targeting them is a target for the living needs of the Yemeni people.
