Mosque’s imam assassinated in Abyan, Yemen

The Imam of a mosque was assassinated on Thursday by unidentified gunmen in Mudiyah city of Abyan province, southern Yemen.
According to local sources in the city, gunmen shot the imam of the Sunnah Mosque, Hafedh Ba’azab, and killed him on the spot, without giving any reasons.
This comes as a continuation of the series of assassinations targeting imams of mosques in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces, located under the control of Saudi-led coalition.
