Shia man taken into undeclared illegal custody

Another innocent Shia Muslim who was serving as a driver of a senior Shia lawyer was taken into illegal custody and subjected to enforced disappearance after a raid in Pakistan’s Karachi.

Another innocent Shia Muslim who was serving as a driver of a senior Shia lawyer was taken into illegal custody and subjected to enforced disappearance after a raid in Pakistan’s Karachi.

Whereabouts of Syed Mohammad Mansoor son of Syed Sultan are not made known even to his family. He was car driver of Advocate Syed Tasawwur Rizvi who heads Jafaria Legal Aid and has been waging legal battle for many incarcerated youths. 

Reports had it raids were being conducted in Shia majority neighborhoods in Karachi from Shah Faisal Colony and Gulistan-e-Jauhar in district East Karachi to Dastgir and Gulbahar in district Central where innocent youths and active notables were being dragged to enforced disappearance without any charge.
