Shia Muslims continue sit-in to protest against targeted killings

The sit-in being staged in Quetta to protest against the targeted killings of Shia Muslims has entered its seventh day. 

 

 

The sit-in being staged in Quetta to protest against the targeted killings of Shia Muslims has entered its seventh day. 

Shia Hazara Taxi Drivers Association has begun this protest campaign and mainstream Shia parties back the sit-in protesters.

Women, children, youth and elderly people and families of Shia martyrs are participating in the sit-in. 

The protesters are demanding an end to Shia genocide particularly the persecution of Hazara Shia Muslims. They demand capital punishment to terrorists. 

Shia Muslims have made it clear that State authorities must take practical steps and actions against the terrorists.
