Free Muslim calls on Muslim and Arab leaders to release all prisoners of conscience and political prisoners
The International Non-Violence Organization, Free Muslim, called on Muslim and Arab leaders on the anniversary of the birth of the emir of the faithful, Imam Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, to release all prisoners of conscience and political prisoners.

The organization said in a letter that was sent to all the Arab and Muslim leaders that “The International Nonviolence Organization is pleased to congratulate all humanity, the Islamic and Arab worlds, the anniversary of the birth of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, calling Arab and Muslim leaders to take wise measures that please all Muslims.”
The letter further added that “The leaders of the Islamic and Arab worlds should be keen to invest all opportunities for internal and external reconciliation, and to create a positive atmosphere for establishing common rules of action between the existing authorities and political opposition, as per Islamic teachings.”
The letter noted that “This noble occasion for the birth of an exceptional man such as Ali Ibn Abi Talib, peace be upon him, is a reason to quote from his ideology and humane approach that aims at the security and stability of societies.
