A group of Imam Hussein’s, peace be upon him, lovers have established a new type of service by offering the pilgrims free trips from the city of Basra to the holy city of Karbala.
Ahmed Abduz-Zehreh al-Edani, founder of the service, said they primarily take care of the families who are poor or those who lost their loved ones during the war against ISIS.
He added that they now have 25 cars, and the number is increasing, emphasizing that many people in Basra encouraged them, and some people joined them to offer other services.
He also said that they have a group of doctors who accompany the convoy to the holy city of Karbala and return to Basra when they pilgrims are finished.
