Aleppo under attack as militants target civilian areas before Eid

A massive explosion rocked the historical city of Aleppo, Friday night, killing and wounding several people that were shopping for the upcoming Eid celebration.

 

 

A massive explosion rocked the historical city of Aleppo, Friday night, killing and wounding several people that were shopping for the upcoming Eid celebration.

According to Aleppo-based journalist, KinanaAlloush, an IED (improvised explosive device) was detonated inside the Al-Furqan Neighborhood of Aleppo last night, killing four civilians and wounding over 20 others that were present in the area.

The Free Syrian Army group “Sarayah Abu Omara” claimed responsibility for the attack, alleging they were targeting the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) inside the Al-Furqan Neighborhood.
