Yemen’s Arabic-language al-Masirah television network quoted a local military source as saying that the Air Defense Force in the Yemeni army, backed by allied fighters from Popular Committees, shot down an F15 warplane of the Saudi-led aggression.
Earlier in February 24, another F16 warplane taking part in the Saudi-led aggression was downed in Najran, two months after an Apache helicopter was downed in the same front in December 29, 2016.
Yemen has been, since March 2015, under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
