Five women, five children and a man in a vehicle were killed in Logar province on Friday.
“All were members of one family,” Mohammad Halim Fedayee, the provincial governor said, adding, “They were going to attend a wedding ceremony.” One woman and two men were also wounded in the blast.
Also on Friday, in Kapisa province, five Afghan policemen were killed in fighting with the Taliban militants.
