Head of the committee Malik Fakhri confirmed, “Numbers are increasing rapidly as we are approaching the martyrdom,” pointing out that this year’s statistics reveal higher numbers than the previous years.
This is while Baghdad Operations Command Brigadier General SaadMaanannounced the killing of a disguised suicide bomber riding a motorcycle who was trying to target the pilgrims.
It is noteworthy that many Shia channels are covering the mourning ceremonies and processions including Imam Hussein TV in Arabic, Persian, English and Turkish.
