Al-Nimr International Institution organized a memorial ceremony to mark the first martyrdom anniversary of the Shia top cleric Sheik Nimr al-Nimr.
The ceremony was attended by Seyyed Mahdi al-Shirazi, a number of religious figures and teachers and students of the Islamic seminaries in addition to crowds of Ahl al-Bayt lovers.
Sheikh Nashwan Ali Auda, head of al-Nimr International Institution, told Shiawaves that the ceremony is to mark the first martyrdom anniversary of Ayatollah Nimr al-Nimr, may Allah bless his soul.
Sheikh Nashwan added that the ceremony witnessed the recitation of a number of poems and speeches in addition to a photograph gallery including Sheikh al-Nimr’sportraits and a book fair held on the sideline of the ceremony.
