Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui ordered the government officials to appear in person on the next day of hearing.
The respondents in the petition filed by Salman Shahid through his counsel Tariq Asad are Secretary of Interior, Secretary of Information Technology (IT), Director General (DG) of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Chairman of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
The judge has directed them to appear before the court on March 7.
The petition stated that before filing the case, the petitioner approached the FIA requesting to lodge FIRs against the bloggers after inquiry.
