Shia Rights Watch urges the UN to stop political activists’ executions in Middle East
Shia Rights Watch called on Saturday Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, to move quickly to put an end to the deteriorating situation in various Middle East countries, and Bahrain in particular through an effort to stop the implementation of executions on political activists.

The Organization said in a statement, whichShiawaves has a copy of, that through looking upon the Middle Eastern countries unrest, particularly Bahrain, especially after the waves of discrimination, the Organization is closely seeing-into the multiple executions of the Bahraini political activists.
The statement added that Bahraini courts has sentenced a number of executions based on illegal standards in order to restrain the social and political activists demanding social justice already implemented in different international constitutions.
The organization called on the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization to move quickly to put an end to the worsening situation in various Middle East countries, especially Bahrain, through halting the implementation of executions of activists first, and urging the authorities for legal and human treatment with the peoples’ legitimate claims to establish democratic norms in the country.
