Shia Rights Watch: Multiple Shiites recently arrested by the Saudi Authorities

Shia Rights Watch International Organization has briefed that the Saudi Authorities have launched a suspicious arresting campaign targeting multiple Shiite citizens from the eastern province, Al Ahsa.

 

Shia Rights Watch International Organization has briefed that the Saudi Authorities have launched a suspicious arresting campaign targeting multiple Shiite citizens from the eastern province, Al Ahsa.

The Organization has expressed deep concern of the news, especially as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has a well known record for abusing and torturing its Shia citizens.

The Organization strongly warns of the danger of such violations and suspicious targets behind them, calling upon all sides to abide by the human rights regulations when looking at the fate of the detainees, stating that the Saudi authorities and the State of Bahrain are responsible for the safety of the arrestees materially and morally.
