A special type of calligraphy is being used to mark the Husseini processions and their banners.

Prominent Calligrapher Najah al-Greiti told Shiawaves that a special new type of calligraphy is emerging around the world especially in the holy city of Karbala.

He added that this new type of calligraphy is mainly used during Ashura.
