The mission settled in Aziat, the area behind al-Belal mosque in Medina to receive pilgrims from all over the world.
Grand Ayatollah Shirazi pilgrimage mission witnessed the attendance of many representatives of top clerics and civil society members and a large number of Shiites in Mecca and Medina, to discuss the latest developments and changes in the Muslims, especially matters related to Shiites around the world.
It is worth mentioning that the first mission that settled in Mecca and Medina is the mission of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi in 1970 AD, which was founded by the Martyr Ayatollah Sayyed Hassan Husseini Shirazi under the commandments of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad al-Husseini al-Shirazi, may Allah bless his soul.
