Afghan NDS arrest 12-year-old suicide bomber in Badghis Province

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has announced that Afghan security forces have arrested a 12-year-old boy who was intended to attack a crowd of spectators in a stadium.

 

 

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has announced that Afghan security forces have arrested a 12-year-old boy who was intended to attack a crowd of spectators in a stadium.

The Afghan intelligence agency added that the boy had a sticky bomb attached to his body, and fortunately,the Taliban attack plot on Qalai Naw stadium was foiled by Afghan security forces.

“Abdul Aziz, a Taliban militant had attached a sticky bomb to the body of 12-year-old Qiamuddin and wanted to explode him by a remote control during the wrestling game in Qalai now stadium”, the statement noted.

The Taliban militant group has recently been using children for their attacks against Afghan security forces and civilians.
