Saudi-led air strike targeted a police headquarters overnight in Yemen’s capital Sanaa
At least 25 were killed and many others wounded when a Saudi-led air strike targeted a police headquarters overnight in Yemen’s capital Sanaa, officials and residents said on Monday. A hospital official said 25 policemen were confirmed dead, while the others, including civilians, were receiving treatment. He expected the death toll to rise when bodies could be lifted out from under the debris. A security official at the scene said about 30 people, including policemen and residents who live in houses near the police facility, have been transferred to hospitals.
