Al-Saud regime forces raided several houses in Qatif in the Eastern province, as protests against the execution of prominent cleric, Sheikh Nimr Baqer al-Nimr, proceeded.
Local sources said that several houses were raided near al-Nahash Hussayniyah in Qatif. Armored vehicles also entered al-Awamiyyah, the town of Sheikh Nimr along with three activists who took part in pro-democracy protests. Meanwhile, peaceful rallies condemning the execution of Sheikh Nimr continued to take place in Qatif. Activists on social media announced a schedule of peaceful rallies aimed at demanding the handover of the martyrs’ bodies.
