The Alauddin Islamic Secondary School in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, hosted the country’s largest annual religious studies competition, organized by the Islamic Council of Kosovo and held across mosque schools nationwide.

According to Muslim World Today, nearly 100 children from various provinces participated in the event, which was overseen by the council’s youth and women’s departments.

Students from Dragash secured first place, followed by Prizren in second, and Budva in third.

The competition featured four main categories: Qur’an memorization and recitation, Islamic principles, jurisprudence, and Islamic history and biography. Organizers highlighted that the purpose of the initiative is to combine religious knowledge with historical awareness and to cultivate a balanced character in the younger generation.
