Saudi Shia citizen lashed for holding Friday prayer inside his house

A Saudi court has sentenced a Shia citizen for two months and 60 lashes for holding Friday prayer inside his house.
Zuhair Bu Salih said that due to the lack of Shia mosques in his neighborhood, he held the Friday prayer inside his house, adding that he was arrested previously three times for the same reason.
He pointed out that he appealed for building a mosque for the Shias in al-Khubarregion; however, the authorities rejected the appeal.
