More details in the following report:

Marking the International Day of Baqi, thousands of Iraqi people gathered in front of the Saudi Embassy in the Green Zone of Baghdad to protest against the destruction of the sacred graves of Imams of Baqi by the Wahhabis of Ale-Saud.

The participants, who were holding handwritten notes and flags regarding the destruction of the holy graves of Imams of Baqi, peace be upon them, came from various cities of Iraq, especially Karbala, with the efforts of the mawkib “Willa, Fida’, Fath”, a religious association affiliated with the Office of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.

While protesting the crime committed by the Ale-Saud family in 1926, the participants demanded the complete restoration and revival of this holy place as a humanitarian and religious duty of the Saudi government.

It should be mentioned that every year the centers related to the office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh al-Hosseini al-Shirazi facilitate the presence of thousands of faithful Iraqi people in Baghdad in front of the Saudi Embassy as a step towards the reconstruction of Jannat al-Baqi.

This year’s ceremony was covered by the various TV channels of Imam Hussein Media Group as well as other Iraqi news media.

In addition to the rally in front of the Saudi Arabia Embassy in Baghdad, other protest demonstrations were organized by Iraqi Shiites in Karbala, Najaf al-Ashraf, Baghdad, Kirkuk, Babol, Wasit, Diwaniyah, Mushani, Dhi Qar, Misan and Basra to condemn the heinous and criminal act of the Wahhabi Ale-Saud.
