Construction works on the Basement of Imam Hussain for Women are continuing below the courtyard of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in Karbala.

The official website of the Holy Shrine said, in news followed by the Shia Waves News Agency, that the finishing works on the Basement of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him, which is located below the courtyard of the Holy Shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas, peace be upon him, witnessed advanced stages, according to engineering plans that simulate Islamic antiquity and a modern application according to the latest architectural methods and systems.

He added that various plans are being carried out in order to finish it as soon as possible, the most important of which is covering the ceiling with artistically cut glass, in addition to cladding the floor and walls with alabaster, stressing that the area of the basement is 1000 square meters.
