Christian journalist: Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) is an extension of the biography of Jesus Christ on the path of reform
The Lebanese Christian journalist, Sarkis Al-Douaihy, confirmed that Imam Hussein and the rest of the imams, peace be upon them, are an extension of the biography of Christ on the path of reform and lifting injustice from people, during his visit to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas, peace be upon him.
Al-Douaihy said, “Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and his reformist and moral revolution are considered an extension of the approach of the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus son of Mary (peace be upon him) and the rest of the prophets.”
He added that “The Arbaeen is a very unique and exceptional experience. The sights and feelings of walking among the pilgrims are wonderful. I was very impressed all the way from Najaf to Karbala, because of the generosity and hospitality of the Iraqi people and their hospitality to the pilgrims of the Arbaeen.”
He stated that “performing the ceremonies of the Arbaeen Pilgrimage in Iraq is a divine success, and I had the honor to have had this success by walking with the pilgrims of Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) towards the holy city of Karbala.”
Al-Douaihy stressed that “the holy shrines mean a lot to me, and I found them a sanctuary for the various religions and sects in Iraq and the world, and not just for Muslims.”
