Misbah Al-Hussein launches annual food-package distribution plan in Karbala

Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development, affiliated with the office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Sadegh Shirazi (may Allah prolong his life) – announced the start of the large-scale annual plan to distribute food packages in the holy city of Karbala and other cities.

According to the officials of this institution, this huge project started today, Monday April 3, which means thousands of food packages will be distributed among needy families and orphans.

In this regard, Abdul Saheb Al-Kishwan, director of Misbah Al-Hussein Institute, said: Owing to blessings of God Almighty and Tawfiq from the Master of the Time (may Allah hasten his reappearance), we started a large annual plan to distribute food packages in the holy city of Karbala and some other cities and provinces of Iraq.”

He further added that the plan was developed in accordance with the directives of the supreme Shia-World Marja, which emphasize the importance of helping the needy and orphans.
