Trained employees to organize crowds attending banner replacement ceremony at Imam Hussain Holy Shrine
The Security Department at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the completion of all preparations for the ceremonies of replacing the banner atop the dome of the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
The head of the department, Eng. Rasoul Fadhala, said: “The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine, through the Security Department, has completed all the work related to organizing the ceremonies to replace the banner atop the dome of the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”
He explained that “the shrine of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, will witness the ceremonies of lowering the red flag and raising the black flag on Friday, July 29, 2022, after the evening prayer, marking the beginning of the season of sorrows for the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them.
He added, “Large screens will be installed, distributed over the places near the Holy Shrine, to display the ceremonies.”
Fadhala continued, “The plan was developed by specialized cadres who were trained by specialized professors at the University of Manchester.”
The Holy Shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him) witnesses the arrival of hundreds of thousands of pilgrims to holy Karbala to attend the ceremonies.
