Imam Hussain Holy Shrine sets security and service plan and mobilizes its efforts for Arafa Pilgrimage, Eid al-Adha
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine announced the completion of special preparations to secure the pilgrimage of Arafa and the days of Eid al-Adha in order to provide the best services to pilgrims.
The Head of the Security Department, Rasoul Abbas Fidhala, said that the department has completed all its preparations for the special pilgrimage to Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, on the night and day of Arafa and the days of Eid al-Adha for this year, by developing an integrated plan to provide the best services to the beloved pilgrims.
He explained, “All the department’s employees will be deployed and mobilized alongside 2000 volunteers distributed across all entrances and exits of the Holy Shrine to facilitate the flow of movement and access to the shrine of Imam Hussain, peace be upon him.”
Fidhala added, “A joint operations room was formed with the concerned authorities to lead the operations, the police command and the security authorities, as well as joint coordination with the rest of the other departments and divisions at the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine for the purpose of providing the best services to pilgrims during the pilgrimage.”
