Young French man converts to Islam at Imam Redha Holy Shrine
A young French man, Daniel, has converted to Islam in the holy shrine of Imam Redha choosing “Ali” as his new Muslim name.
A young French man, Daniel, has converted to Islam in the holy shrine of Imam Redha choosing “Ali” as his new Muslim name.
Following his conversion, the Muslim convert said: “I visited almost all Iranian cities’ mosques and historical sites and became interested in Iran and its people when I toured Iran for the first time.”
He added: “When I talked to my guide about religious issues, I felt more closeness with the Muslims; the more I found out, the more I became interested in Islam.”
Continuing his remarks, Ali noted that upon his return to France “my personal curiosity to Islam and Islamic topics increased in a way that I decided to do research on Islamic sects.”
Expressing his feeling toward the Holy Shrine, Ali said: “The shrine city of Mashhad attracted me a lot when I visited it for the first time and I consider my today’s conversion in this holy shrine nothing but a gift from God.”
