The procession included buses carrying thousands of pilgrims.
The procession’s supervisor and public relations director, Sayed Arif Nasrullah, told Shiawaves that the procession was launched following the directives of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq
Sayed Nasrullah added that a large convoy was launched this year from the holy city of Karbala to the holy shrine of the Askari Imams, peace be upon them, and then the shrine of Sayyid Muhammad bin Imam al-Hadi, peace be upon him, stressing that the pilgrimage this year witnessed a distinctive organization and performance by the organizers in providing various services to the pilgrims.
