Iraq’s holy shrines start special Quranic program for the holy month of Ramadan

Within the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan and in the courtyards of the holy shrines around the country, the annual special Quranic program was launched on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan. 

Pilgrims of all ages and nationalities join the program, which is aired daily live on Imam Hussein TV, and recite Islam’s holy book. 

Reciting the Holy Quran in Ramadan has special significance and rewards. 

The Prophet says, “He who reads a verse from the Holy Quran in the month of Ramadan, has the reward of a Quran’s Khatmah (which is the complete recitation of the Quran) in the other months.”
