650 service units participate in the provision of services during Mid-Shaban

The head of the Department of Husseini rituals and processions in Iraq and the Islamic world affiliated to the holy shrines of Imam Hussein and his brother al-Abbas, peace be upon them, announced the registration of 650 services units that will participate in serving the pilgrims of the Mid-Shaaban pilgrimage.

“The department has completed all preparations to provide the best services to the pilgrims during the pilgrimage of mid-Shaaban, which has great significance in the hearts of lovers and followers, peace be upon them, said the head of the department, adding that the works are conducted in cooperation with the police command offices.

Salman pointed out that “the number of services units officially registered 650 from different Iraqi provinces were distributed within the administrative boundaries of the holy city of Karbala,” adding “these units have completed all the legal administrative procedures, and were guided by the instructions set by the Department of the two holy shrines on the organization their work.” 

He pointed out that the holy shrine will ensure the provision of potable water and sewage basins to facilitate the work of those services units that serve the service of the pilgrims of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

The pilgrimage of mid-Shaaban coincides with the anniversary of the birth of Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his reappearance, is the second largest pilgrimage in the holy land of Karbala after the pilgrimage of Arbaeen.
