Iran’s deputy speaker of the Shura Council, Ali Mutahari, told Iran’s Khan Mellat News Agency that the reason for the attack on Iran’s embassy in Britain was the arrest of Ayatollah Sayed Hussein al-Shirazi.
“I believe that the arrest of the son of Grand Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq al-Shirazi was not necessary,” he said, adding that “Sayed Hussein Shirazi gave in his lecture his point of view in the mandate of the jurist or Wilayat al-Faqih, and this matter is not important to lead to his arrest and trigger the movement of loyalists to him.”
Mutahari mentioned, “In my opinion, the arrest of Sayed Hussein Shirazi by the clerical court is not necessary.”
It is noteworthy that the demonstrators and the followers of His Eminence Sayed Sadiq al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, and those who lost patience after the arrest of His Eminence, removed the flag of Iran from the wall of its embassy in London. The PR office of Ayatollah Shirazi has urged everyone to remain patient and stay away from violence of all kinds.
