“Chuan Yank” was converted to the Islam religion by uttering Shahada in a ritual led by the management of the non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Imam Ridha Holy Shrine.
“I live in Tianjin, in a small town where I am always in regular contact with Muslims who made me interested in their lifestyle and rituals,” he said.
Chuan Yank recounted the attractions of Islam as his motivation for conversion and said, “I hope I can find out more about Islam and spread this knowledge to others.”
The Muslim convert who is a graduate of architecture from the University of China, expressed happiness to be in Imam Ridha Holy Shrine and added, “I am happy to have a religion and belief in the teachings of a heavenly religion, and I hope I can be able to learn more about my religion by studying over time.”
It is worth mentioning that at the end of the ceremony, the Muslim convert was awarded the certificate of conversion to Islam, along with spiritual gifts and several volumes of books from the management of non-Iranian pilgrims affairs of Imam Ridha Holy Shrine.
