Middle East’s largest cardiac hospital to open in Karbala
The Medical Affairs Department of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine has stated that it has received quotations from international companies for equipping Khatem al-Anbiya Cardiac Hospital, the soon-to-be largest cardiac hospital in the Middle East.

The department discussed the medical devices and their qualities with General Electric Inc.
From his part, head of GE Iraq branch Firas Ata’ added, “Our Company has constructed several well-known hospitals in the country including al-Kafeel Hospital in Karbala and Imam Sadiq Hospital in Babylon.”
“The quotations, offered to the hospital seeking to make it one of the most prestigious cardiac centers in the Middle East, include manufacturing, installation, maintenance and training of cadres.”
Construction work of Khatem al-Anbiya Cardiac Hospital is under the supervision of Khairat al-Sibtayn Construction Company.
