The Imam Ali Holy Shrine has begun a comprehensive maintenance and modernization plan for its electronic display system in preparation for welcoming millions of pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).

Abdul Mahdi Hassan, head of the Screens Unit at the shrine’s Media Department, said that work began early and includes repairing, restoring, and operating electronic screens, as well as relocating and installing them at strategic locations based on pilgrims’ movement routes and entry points.

He explained that the plan aims to ensure the readiness of the electronic display network throughout the pilgrimage days and utilize it to broadcast guidance materials, educational content, and religious instructions related to Arbaeen, helping organize pilgrim movement and promote awareness of the significance and etiquette of the occasion.

Hassan added that specialized technical and media teams continue their efforts to provide an integrated electronic display system supporting organizational and service plans, while delivering essential information and guidance to millions of visitors arriving in the holy city of Najaf from inside and outside Iraq.
