Over 1 Million Medical Services Provided to Arbaeen Pilgrims in Najaf

The Najaf Health Department has announced that more than one million medical services have been provided to both Iraqi and foreign pilgrims since the start of the Arbaeen ceremonies.
According to Middle East News, citing the official Iraqi News Agency, Maher Yasser al-Aboudi, the media director for the Najaf Health Department, stated that the services were delivered through a health plan involving thousands of medical personnel and aid vehicles.
The services provided by the Najaf Health Department and its supporting organizations were distributed among Iraqi, Arab and foreign pilgrims.
Al-Aboudi added that 3,424 emergency cases were transported by ambulance, 236 incidents were recorded, and 38 deaths were reported during this period.
He also provided details on the staff and vehicles involved in the health plan, noting that 265 vehicles (194 from the Najaf Health Department and 71 from aid organizations) and 4,174 medical personnel participated. Additionally, 61 service and administrative staff and 1,190 Iranian specialists from various fields were also present, bringing the total number of participants to 5,425.
