Karbala Registers 14,000 Service Stations for Arba’een Pilgrims

The Karbala Holy Governorate Police Command has announced that more than 14,000 local and 205 Arab and foreign service stations, known as Mawakib, have been registered to provide services for the Arba’een pilgrims.
According to a report from the Shia Waves Agency, Colonel Ihsan Asadi, the Director of Public Relations for the Karbala police, stated that these Mawakib have been organized under police supervision to offer various services, including accommodation, food, and guidance to the pilgrims.
The holy city’s police have also implemented special measures to ensure the safety of the pilgrims. The force has issued specific guidelines to prevent accidents and incidents such as fires. The Arba’een pilgrimage is expected to draw millions of people to Karbala to commemorate the 40th day after the martyrdom of Imam Hussein.
