According to the website of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, SheikhanaLouhtranslated a part of the blessed book into the national language of Senegal.
The Quran translation of the scholar has been published in Libya and copies of it are available at mosques across Senegal.
Wolof is a member of the Senegambian branch of the Niger-Congo language family with about seven million speakers in Senegal, France, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali and Mauritania.
